What Did You Think of BlogHer?

I am summarizing my experience at BlogHer, complete with pictures and a longer video.

Heh. It's going to take me just two (ok, maybe three) posts to get it out and then I promised myself I'd stop talking about it. But! For you? I'll give you a sound bite:

For me, BlogHer was complete with fantastic writers, interesting new people that I met, and catching up with the lives of the people I read on a regular basis. Things that they don't put on the blog. It's incredible to hear them tell stories in 3-D and with their own audible voice.

The other thing that was kind of a highlight for me was meeting Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett (Dude. A White House Rock Star!) Donna Byrd from The Root, Ilene Chaiken from The L Word. I got to hand them my card and then blush because I decided to go with a silly one this year. Those are some seriously amazing women.

I didn't embarrass myself too much by pronouncing your name wrong, did I? I hope not.

I think the most interesting part for me was the panel that talked about FTC guidelines and how that conversation shaped up. Particularly the part about bloggers 18-25 being next on the list for brands to reach out to. My views are all up on my "blogher reflection" post. Excited to read yours!
