Twitter is Taking Over Facebook in Email Links

Now this is interesting. It appears that marketers are including links to their Twitter accounts in their email marketing messages - more than they do for Facebook

I also found it interesting that more companies aren't including links to all of their social media embassies.

I had never thought of that, but I've been on Facebook much longer than Twitter, and never included Facebook info on my e mail signature. It seemed only natural to add Twitter after my AIM (yes, we still use that in radio) name on my e mails.

Twitter is like a breath of fresh air on the Social Media scene. I have been on it for just a few weeks now and I have met several interesting people. It is a platform to network with people you would like to meet in real life.

I do think that Facebook's ability for longer 'chat strings', images and comments (photo/video) enable more of a two-way dialogue between brands and consumers. It's almost as if Twitter is the entry point and Facebook keeps the longer conversation going.
