Chicago Senior Tech Execs Will Serve You Drinks: i.c. stars TechBash is Tomorrow
Tomorrow night, tech executives from around Chicago (Orbitz, Hewitt,Walgreens,to name a few) will be serving up cocktails at the i.c. stars yearly TechBash. This year, the party takes place at Rockit Bar & Grill.
Don't know what i.c. stars is? Founded in 1999, i.c. stars is a non-profit organization that aims to create 1,000 community leaders by 2020. Every cycle of i.c. stars participants is highly competitive and they receive hands-on training in technology, including programming, database design, the whole nine yards. Simply mission, sure, but it takes quite a large group of volunteers and donors to keep the program going. I'm proud to have donated my time and keep in contact with i.c. stars alums over the years.
